Geert-Jan Hobijn started Staalplaat Soundsystem in 2000. Since then Staalplaat Soundsystem has created a multitude of Machine Installations using all manner of consumer electronics.

Yannick Franck is a sound and visual artist. He lives and works in Gent, Belgium.
He runs the independent label Idiosyncratics Records. He is the founder of electroacoustic project Y.E.R.M.O. (Venice Biennial 2009, Pavilion of Luxembourg) in which he's active since 2005 with guitarist Xavier Dubois and drummer Jason Van Gulick.
He works as a composer and sound designer for the National Theater of the French Community in Brussels and with companies Artara and Trotz Ensemble.

Het werk van Nikolaus Gansterer bestaat en verspreidt zich, van muziek tot wetenschap en van filosofie tot beeldende kunst. Met zijn beeldend werk probeert Nikolaus processen te maken van onzichtbaarheid. In zijn installaties, kunnen we zien hoe hij processen vertaalt die voortkomen uit culturele en wetenschappelijke netwerken in een artistieke context. Zijn werk bestaat uit het creëren van nieuwe verbindingen uit de verschillen tussen cultuur en wetenschap, verschillen die leiden tot de ondervraging van de denkbeeldige drempel tussen natuur en cultuur, religie, kunst en beschaving.
